This statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary was setup in 1926. It's a copy of a gothic Virgin to the Child. Mother of all Graces, she brings in her arms the Salvation of the World. Virgin Mary is the patroness of Aubin's church, that's why it is called Our Lady of Assumption. She is really present in the city of Aubin, she is also worshiped on the Calvary and at the chapel Our Lady of Pouzet. |
