2) THE BIG WORKS OF THE XVth CENTURY : THE GOTHIC PART

The roman church was too small, so Adhémar de Buisson, Albin's prior, decided to enlarge it in 1486. Its successors continued to do the works in two big steps even in 1510. (see on the draft on the right)

The architect at that time preserved a part of the XIIth church while eliminating the roman apses and added a new nave to enlarge the church in width and in depth.
It was also at that time that the front rose was opened
